Save money – read the labels
I was buying some coenzyme CoQ-10 at Costco. Typically at most places the more you buy the cheaper anything is per pound. In fact that’s even more true of superstores like Costco.
I automatically went to the 200 mg CoQ-10. I always look at the amount you get vs. the price. In this case I intuited that the price per mg appeared a bit higher than I expected. So I looked at the other packages and noticed that the 100 mg capsules were the best value (by quite a large margine). So I bought that package.
I have noticed that at times (maybe often) the larger size is not the best value. Also often the store brand and the branded product have the identical ingredients (often even manufactured by the same people) and yet are much cheaper. Again reading the label for the ingredients allows you to save money.
Of course you should ask your physician to prescribe generic drugs if they are available. Another great way to save money while saving the planet is to eat more plant proteins and less animal proteins. You’ll improve your health as well and that alone is a great reason to become a mostly vegetarian…
